PleasanTime Child Care Center, Inc. believes in extraordinary client service beyond expectation which each child will receive during their time here. Our program serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years within a variety of programs and classrooms. We believe we have the privilege to care for the most precious commodity in a person’s life and we are humbled to inspire love, laughter & learning.

Our team of compassionate, energetic and grateful teachers are energized to develop and maintain relationships with each family we serve. We celebrate 200 years of combined experience in the Early Childhood Profession of the teachers and leadership at PleasanTime Child Care Center, Inc. that mirror consistency, experience, knowledge and stability of each child’s daily environment. We truly celebrate the family approach throughout PleasanTime.
Zoo Crew (Infant & Toddler)
Our Infant & Toddler program is rich with love through the integrity of the teachers and simple environment that promote each child’s development on their own pace. Open communication daily at drop off & pick up, written communication of daily activities and highlights are key elements to building relationships and maintaining trust and accountability. Our theme based lesson planning includes activities which are planned with each child’s goals in mind as well as alignment with Wisconsin Model Learning Standards. WeeHands Curriculum is incorporated into daily interaction through American Sign Language. Each teacher embraces the opportunity to communicate with the children through American Sign Language. Being non-verbal and communicating basic need becomes frustrating when not being understood. Sign Language has been the key to happy communication which builds relationships of trust as well as language at the pace of the child.
Little Elmo's (2 - 3 years old) Elmo's Pals (3 year olds) & Big Birds (3 - 5 years old)

Our theme based lesson planning includes activities which are planned with each child’s goals in mind as well as alignment with Wisconsin Model Learning Standards. Each classroom also has a monthly environmental plan which aligns with goals and standards. The preschool program is imbedded within the day from 9-11a MTWRF. A variety of activities are planned, outside time, circle time and transitions are a time to work together for the same outcome. Opportunities to build social skills of getting along with others, cleaning up and organizing toys back to shelves and delayed gratification during times of the day that the need to wait a turn, and help from a teacher. We encourage self-help skills and celebrate the success of achievement.
Big Kids Club Before and After School Program
PleasanTime offers a program for school age children ages 5-12 years that includes before and after school plus care on early release and no-school days. Daily lesson plans include activities which are aligned with Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards plus children’s individual goals. The environment is rich with many different learning centers that offer the variety and open concept the school ager dreams for. The outdoor space includes a large grass area, play structure with poured rubber to race around, outdoor basketball court, and a huge sandbox. The creativity is endless and the space abundant for the active and curious child. Afternoon snack is offered every day afterschool and the menu is posted on bulletin board at the entrance of the building. The opportunity to complete home work is always an option. Our philosophy is to laugh, love and learn and to truly build the next generation with resiliency, grit, respect, kindness and a grateful heart.
Musikgarten Music Class
​On a weekly basis Musikgarten Music classes are offered from newborn – 5 years old as part of the day at PleasanTime. Musikgarten, a German music education program and Dr. known John Feieraband, a well-known early childhood expert and professor. Musikgarten’s programs are based on meeting the developmental needs of children as they grow. Favorite songs, stories, and dances are all revisited throughout- building on what each child has mastered and enjoyed-making successful learning easier. Music’s melodic and rhythmic patterns awaken and stimulate neural pathways in the brain that help develop memory, math skills, and powers of abstract and creative thinking.

During our summer session for our school age program we offer themed sessions and field trips throughout the summer. Each session if filled with daily activities based on the goals of the children, theme, and alignment with Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards.
